Recently I've been researching household chemicals ie The type of products and the chemicals used. Majority of people are aware of the chemicals in cleaners and Laundry products, fewer are aware dangerous chemicals are also in personal care products like shampoo, soaps, toothpaste, baby products as well as cosmetics. Scary huh!
The Australian government seems to hide these dangers. For instance when researching formeldahyde, the Australian EPA includes household products in 1 sentence. The Department of Enviroment and Heritage focus on Agricultural and Building supplies.
Yet when you look up Formeldahyde releasing agents like Q15 in Australia there is a huge range of personal care products and brands listed. apparently these agents are not listed on the products as they are beneath a certain level determined by the government. Add these so called low levels over a lifetime! Our bodies absorb these toxic chemicals causing life threatening diseases, birth defects and aging. In fact Johnson&Johnson just lost a huge ongoing court case in USA for this very reason.
This is my journey of dreaming, finding and living my bliss. Taking you on the rollercoaster ride of my life. I will share aspects of my life as a Mum juggling a family with work and building a home business along with children's issues like ADHD. WHERE'S MY BLISS?????? Follow me!

CHALLENGES

WOW! Life is full of challenges and this year is no different.
I live in a house full of Teenagers. Believe me when I say, if you can't handle stress, then do not have kids. There is a reason why most parents have grey hair. Yep thats right, their kids are approaching puberty with a vengence. This stage starts at 11 to 12 yrs of age. The mood swings are huge. With boys comes the need for punching bags, with girls........earplugs. After a couple of years each start fitting into their new skin and things begin to settle down. It will never be the same though, face it.....your beautiful baby has grown up.
